The newest short film by Mindbeside Studios is a contemplative meditation on the role of power and corruption as told through two competing samurai in the modern world. The short was shot in Lowell and saw it's premiere at Boston Film Night. Jarrod is a veteran screenwriter who makes his directorial debut with an adaptation of one of his short stories, a bold undertaking in scope and execution for a micro-budget film project made possible by an outstanding cast and crew.

Amid corrugated walls and stacks of boxes, life puts an interesting twist on a chance meeting between two people in the most unlikely of places. In final production, The Container is a silent film that features the talents of two local SAG actors framed by an engaging score.
